The June/July 2005 issue of The South-Central, which is our synod's newsletter is the last newsletter that will be sent through the mail. The Synod is discontinuing sending these in snail mail due to mailing costs. Instead they are offering subscriptions to all through email. Using email will allow the synod office to make it available to a greater number of church members.  They are encouraging all congregational council and committee members to subscribe by sending their name, e-mail address, and congregation to scswoffice@scsw-elca.org.  This is a good resource and everyone is encouraged to  sign up to receive this via e-mail.
